The Soil Association has approved the site for the production of organic products.
The Company has been awarded Grade A certificate to the BRC standard by EFSIS.
Several leading UK companies have approved the site for the production of own label products.
We also manufacture Fairtrade products with the approval of the Fairtrade Foundation.
Organic Products
The production of organic products is one of our strengths. Only the best quality organic ingredients are used from certified organic suppliers.
Organic production is fully segregated and controlled by time separation, colour coded equipment and dedicated storage to ensure there is no cross contamination of non-organic products with organic products.
Quality Assurance
The Company has a fully maintained Quality Assurance Management System, which conforms to the requirements of the British Retail Consortium.
Full traceability from raw material intake to finished product despatch is documented and maintained. The Company uses batch-manufacturing techniques.
Food safety is paramount and is based on HACCP principles.
The Company is proud of its quality and believes in the employees being responsible for the products they produce. Employees are encouraged to take an active role in the development of the production process. This is particularly important in the production of specialist products for the Organic, Vegetarian or Coeliac markets.
